2025 CWS Finals

The College World Series has reached the final round. Let’s break down the prior action and see which two teams will be facing off for the championship.

The first team to reach the finals is Coastal Carolina. They defeated Arizona, Oregon State and Louisville on their way to the finals.

The second team to reach the finals is LSU. They defeated Arkansas twice and UCLA to reach the finals.

The championship series is a best of three starting Saturday June 21, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. LSU will serve as the home team in game one. Coastal Carolina will be the home team for game two on Sunday June 22, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Game three if needed is Monday June 23, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. ET also on ESPN. LSU would be the home team in the if needed game three.

In my CWS preview I picked LSU to win. While Coastal Carolina has been impressive during their run to the finals, I think it ends in defeat. I think it wil take all three games though.
