2025 AVCA Week 3 poll: Warhawks on top

Wisconsin-Whitewater is the top-ranked team in the AVCA Week 3 poll, ascending to the perch in all the land after Juniata finally took a loss — the three-time reigning Division III champ’s first in nearly 1,100 days — and slipped to fourth in the poll.

UW-Whitewater played Juniata in last year’s national championship match.

Rounding out the top 10 are No. 2 La Verne, No. 3 Wisconsin-Oshkosh, No. 5 East Texas Baptist, No. 6 Washington and Lee, No. 7 Washington-St. Louis, No. 8 Emory, No. 9 Johns Hopkins, and Illinois Wesleyan.

Other Region VIII/IX in the Week 3 top 25: No. 14 Wisconsin-Eau Claire; No. 19 Dubuque; No. 24 Gustavus Adolphus; No. 25 Wisconsin-Platteville.

Region VIII/IX programs also receiving votes this week: Carthage; Coe; Chicago; Rose-Hulman; Saint Benedict.
