2024 Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament: which top seed has the best chance to win it all?

Now that we broke down the number one seeds on the men’s side of the bracket, let’s break down the number one seeds in the women’s bracket of the NCAA tournament.

South Carolina is the first one seed. South Carolina enters the tournament with a perfect 32-0 record.  Kamilla Cardoso is a player to watch for the Gamecocks, as they look to finish off the perfect season.

Iowa is the second number one seed. The Big Ten champions are led by Caitlin Clark, and her record setting scoring. She was named as the top player to watch this tournament.

USC is the next number one seed. They are the champions of the PAC 12 and feature Juju Watkins as a standout player.

The final number one seed is Texas. The Longhorns have 30 wins so far this year and are champions of the Big 12. Madison Booker is the player to watch for Texas.
