2024 PLL Semifinals

S. Samek

The PLL is wasting no time with the playoffs. After the first round of action on Monday September 2nd, 2024, the semifinal round takes place just five days later on Saturday September 7th, 2024. Long Island New York is the host venue for this round

The top seed New York Atlas will take on the fourth seed Maryland Whipsnakes in the first match of the weekend. The Whipsnakes won 11-10 over the Denver Outlaws in their round one match.

The last time these two teams met back in week four of the regular season the Whipsnakes won 16-12. So, while the Atlas could be on upset alert I do predict them to get to the final with a win.

In the second match of the weekend the two seed Utah Archers take on the Carolina Chaos. The Chaos upset the Boston Cannons 8-4 in the opening round of the playoffs.

The last time these two teams met was week three of the season with the Archers winning 9-7. My prediction is Archers win this match.

Games are Saturday September 7th, 2024, at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM eastern time. Who will advance to next weeks PLL Championship?
