2024 MLS Western Conference Semifinals

The MLS playoffs are ready to move to the semifinal round. Let’s take a look at the Western Conference’s semifinals.

The first semifinal features Seattle and LAFC. Seattle advanced with a two-game sweep of Houston with both games being decided on penalty kicks. LAFC needed all three games but were able to eliminate Vancouver two games to one. Despite a bit of a rougher first round, I’m predicting LAFC to advance.

The second semifinal features LA Galaxy and Minnesota United FC. Minnesota upset the third seed Real Salt Lake with a pair of penalty kick wins to advance. The LA Galaxy scored nine goals in an easy two game sweep of the seventh seed Colorado to make it to the conference semifinals. I’m predicting the La Galaxy will advance to meet LAFC in the conference finals.

LAFC and Seattle meet up on November 23rd, 2024, for their game. The LA Galaxy and Minnesota game takes place on November 24th, 2024. Tune in to see which teams advance to the MLS Western Conference finals.
