It’s day six of the 2024 League of Legends worlds. Day six sees the start of round four action. Today a pair of best of three series will determine the next two teams to reach the quarterfinal bracket.

Dplus Kia and Top Esports battled in the first best of three. Game one was a route with Top Esports crushing Dplus Kia to become just a win away from making it to the bracket stage.

Top was able to take game two to finish the sweep and move on to the quarterfinals for the first time sense 2020.

Dplus Kia falls to 2-2 and will have to play another match to try and qualify for the quarterfinals.

In the second best of three Hanwha Life faced off against FlyQuest. FlyQuest kept it close, but a pick in the jungle led to a team fight win for Hanwha Life, who then went down the middle lane to finish off the victory.

FlyQuest would then take down Hanwha Life in game two to even up the series 1-1 and force a game three between the top seeds from both the LCK and LCS.

Hanwha Life then showed their might with a 30 minute dominate victory to advance to the quarterfinals. FlyQuest falls to 2-2 and will play in another qualification series.

We now have half of the quarterfinal bracket set with two teams from the LPL and two teams from the LCK. Will those two regions continue to dominate, or will another region step up?

Tune in tomorrow for more worlds action.
