2024 League of Legends Worlds Semi-Finals Preview

It’s time for the semi-final round of the 2024 League of Legends world championship. Let’s take a look at what we can expect in each matchup.

The first matchup is Bilibili Gaming against Weibo Gaming. These two teams face off in another chapter of their rivalry. They faced off in last year‘s semi-finals with Weibo winning the series 3-2.

The two teams also met in the 2024 LPL Summer Playoffs twice. They played in the round four matchup where Bilibili Gaming swept Weibo Gaming to move on to the semi-finals. The two would then go onto meet again in the finals after Weibo won their way through the loser’s bracket. However, this matchup was similar to the first as Bilibili Gaming scored another 3-0 sweep to win the LPL title for the Summer Split.

Which of the teams will win the match and represent the LPL in the worlds finals?

I’m predicting Bilibili Gaming wins the series 3-2.

Then in the second semi-final we have Gen.G against T1. T1 looks to make it back to the finals and defend their world championship. Gen. G is looking to make it to the finals and earn a shot at winning both MSI and worlds in the same year. Both are looking to represent the LCK in the finals in a guaranteed LPL vs LCK showdown.

As tempting as it is I’m predicting Gen.G win the series 3-1. Which team do you think will win this semi-final match?
