2024 League of Legends Worlds Semi-Finals Day 1

Just four teams remain in the hunt for the 2024 League of Legends world championship. Today we see the first best of five series to determine who moves on to the championship match with Bilibili Gaming facing Weibo Gaming. Which team will represent the LPL in the world finals?

Game one was fairly close. However, after 39 minutes Bilibili Gaming would take game one to take the series lead 1-0.

Game two started with a fight right off the bat and first blood over to Bilibili Gaming just a 1:42 into the game. That was in contrast to game one where it took 17 minutes to secure first blood. The fighting continued the entire game and ended with Bilibili winning a team fight in front of the dragon pit that allowed them to take the base and finish off the game. The win gave them a 2-0 series lead. Could Bilibili finish the sweep, or will Weibo force game four?

Game three was the most one-sided game of the series. Bilibili Gaming crushed Weibo Gaming to finish off the 3-0 sweep. They get their revenge after losing to Weibo in the worlds semi-finals last season.

Weibo is eliminated by their rival. They still finish in the top four teams in the world though. However, they did finish worse than last year at worlds.

Bilibili moves on to the world championship match and will represent the LPL in the finals. They will play the winner of the next semi-finals between T1 and Gen.G. Now that Bilibili Gaming has reached the finals can they win their first world championship?
