The action is heading up with day three of the quarterfinals at the 2024 League of Legends world championship. Today’s best of five series sees T1 play Top Esports for a spot in the semi-finals.

Game one started slow, but after T1 found a team fight win they were able to use it to push into the base. They then stole a baron and took drake soul, which allowed them to win a couple more team fights and eventually the game. This put T1 up 1-0 in the series.

Game two was all T1. They finished with a 15-0 game in 34 minutes to take the 2-0 lead in the series and move just one game away from making it to the semi-finals.

Game Three looked like more of the same. Top Esports fought back for a while, but a team fight win by T1 36 minutes in allowed T1 to finish taking the base and win the game. This finishes off the 3-0 sweep and advances T1 to the semi-finals.

Top Esports is eliminated and will finish in the 5th-8th place position.

T1 will await the winner of the last quarterfinal matchup between Gen.G and FlyQuest. This quarterfinal matchup takes place tomorrow.
