2024 League of Legends Worlds Day 4

It’s day four at the 2024 League of Legends world championships. Today we see who the first two teams to be eliminated will be. Which teams will see their worlds run end and which will get another shot to qualify for the Swiss Stage?

Vikings Esports and Pain Gaming faced off in the first series of the day. Pain Gaming used a strong early game and finished it off with some strong team fights to take game one in 33 minutes.

Pain Gaming kept up the momentum in game two and finished off the sweep 2-0. They eliminated Vikings Esports from worlds while earning a spot in a qualification match for the Swiss Stage.

Pain Gaming will play Movistar R7 for that spot tomorrow.

Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming faced off against 100 Thieves in the second series of the day.

Game one was more of a slow and steady pace, but 100 Thieves was able to win the game to take a 1-0 series lead. Game was all 100 Thieves as they crushed Hawks to win the series 2-0.

The loss eliminates Hawks from worlds. The win puts 100 Thieves in a qualification match against PSG Talon tomorrow.
