2024 Celebration Bowl

S. Samek

It’s that time of year again: Bowl season! Why not kick off bowl season with the Celebration Bowl.

South Carolina State won the MEAC Conference championship to earn their spot in the Celebration Bowl. They finished 5-0 in conference play with a 9-2 overall record this season. They enter this game on a hot streak as winners of eight games in a row.

Jackson State won the SWAC Conference championship game to earn their spot in the Celebration Bowl. They won the Western division to earn a spot in the SWAC conference championship game. They then defeated Southern to win the conference.

Jackson State went 8-0 in conference and 11-2 overall. They have won nine straight games as they head into the Celebration Bowl.

This is a rematch of the 2021 Celebration Bowl which was a 31-10 win for South Carolina State. Which team will come out on top this year? My prediction is Jackson State wins.

The game takes place on Saturday December 14th at 12 pm et.
