2024 Big Ten Conference Football Preview

S. Samek

Let’s preview one of the major conferences in college football the Big Ten ahead of the 2024.

Four former Pac 12 teams enter the conference this season. Oregon, Washington, UCLA and USC.

Oregon is ranked as the number three team in the country in the preseason poll. USC is rated at 23. Washington was national runner up last year, even if they do enter the season unranked.

Ohio State ranks as number two in the country and is the highest rated Big Ten team in the preseason poll.

Penn State is the next ranked team at number eight, one spot ahead of defending national champion Michigan. Iowa is ranked at 25th and is the last of the six ranked Big Ten teams.

However, with four of the top 10 teams in the land, this conference is still pretty solid. Maybe a bit more top heavy than the SEC but should still give us some great matchups to watch this season.
