2024 AHL Calder Cup Finals

The AHL is ready to start the finals of the 2024 Calder Cup. Let’s meet the teams advancing and give a prediction for the winner.

The Coachella Valley Firebirds are the Western Conference Champions. They defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 4-1 in the Western Conference finals. This is the second year in a row that the Firebirds have won the Western Conference title. They lost to the Hershey Bears in the Calder Cup Finals last year though. They look to claim the first Calder Cup in franchise history this season.

The Hershey Bears are the Eastern Conference Champions. They held off the Cleveland Monsters 4-3 to win the title. This included a 3-2 overtime win in game seven to move on to the finals. They return to defend their 2023 Calder Cup, where they defeated the same Coachella Valley Firebirds they face off against this year.

That being said I’m predicting Coachella Valley to get the win 4-2. The series starts on Friday June 14th, 2024.
