Just kind of annoyed with the judging. Why bother doing your leaps and jumps fully when they still find reasons to nitpick you? I watched the US and Gadirova. First Jessica’s Cheng and laid out double double on floor looked much better today than in podium training. I actually felt Simone’s beam should have been higher and was pleasantly surprised she was finally dinged on floor for her landings. Shilese was overscored but with the exception of her beam score, which I thought was way too high, it wasn’t nearly as bad as Nationals. That first screencap is the layout. The other two show flat feet and a slight pike.

Qualifications: 2023 World Championships (The Official Site schedule) Men’s prelims [Starts Lists]

Subdivision Information: Start lists for each Country (Not individual athletes) The USA is in subdivision 2. They start on bars. There are 10 subdivisions. That really sucks for anyone not named Simone since scores tend to go up as the subdivisions go along. It won’t make a big difference for the US as a team but it’s going to wreak havoc on Individual Event Finals. That same link has the start lists for AA and EF, Team, etc… FYI! It is completely unfair to make the number 1 qualifier go first in Event Finals. Your reward for kicking ass is to be put behind the 8 ball? And why the hell is it different depending on the event? The Gymnastics Spot picked who they think will be in the lineups for the US team. I did not watch the video. According to IG2,
