2021 Pre-Championship Manual published

Fellow nerds rejoice, for the 2021 Pre-Championship Manual has cometh. The FAQ page has been updated duly and posthaste.

Alas, nothing much has changed since we were last blessed with a Manual to peruse in 2019. We have a new championship director in Micaela Liddane and a national committee comprised of coaches/admins from Johnson & Wales (R.I.), Wellesley, Ithaca, Gallaudet, Carnegie Mellon, Averett, Saint Vincent, Edgewood, Bethel and Whittier.

Highlights 64 team tourney (stated as 44 Pool A, 2 Pool B, 18 Pool C) [That can’t be correct … what MUST be correct, if the field is 64 teams, is 44 Pool A, 0 Pool B, 20 Pool C] Regional rankings will be published Oct. 20, Oct. 27, Nov. 3 and Nov. 8. The online selection show set for 11:30 a.m. (central) Nov. 8. Regionals are Nov. 11-14. The final eight teams convene at Washington-St. Louis on Nov. 18-20.

Tidbits Apparently all Coast-To-Coast members are in Region VI this season. Interesting. So long for now, Finlandia and Mount Mary. D’Youville (currently in DII) and DI member St. Thomas (Minn.) are still listed but noted as ineligible for the DIII Championship. Maybe consider deleting them entirely.
