At this point, she has no chance at making the Olympic team. She fell on bars but she is second on floor and made the event finals. So like the last time I paid attention to Chinese Nationals, she could win floor. Honestly they should just send her as the extra spot because she was lowballed on floor compared to everyone else and the international judged would score her better (On floor)

Fan Yilin is in first on bars. Her only event. Being honest this routine doesn’t stand out like it used too. I am not even a fan of the current World champ or annoying Downie sister that I think should have won, the World title last year but their routines are better than this. This routine got a 9 execution and that was higher than it should be. Chinese Nationals is infamous for lowballing their home meets but this year, I saw some generous scores. I was always such a huge fan of the Chinese gymnastics but the last few years I haven’t even been able to get attached. They still have individual beam workers I think get lowballed but even their bars are just like everyone else. What are you doing to them Chow???
