Just when things were starting to look up a bit with the return of professional and college sports we seem to be taking a step back.

Recently the Las Vegas Bowl announced that the game is canceled. What was news to me was that this was actully the 10th bowl game to do such a thing.

I guess it can be seen as both a positive and a negative. Sure on the positive side player and personal health and safety. It also may lead us with less bowls to watch to not spread our attentions so thin we get sick of watching football. You can watch a few bowl games and stil be entertained, with out overindulging.

I would also say less bowls is a good thing, escpially the lower tier ones. Like great a pair of 6-6 teams looking to go a game over .500 are playing in a mostly empty stadium, well even more empty this year. Like skip the fluff and give us the games we most care about, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, College football playoffs.

Though on the negative side, don’t you want something to watch. Like if you can’t, or don’t want to leave the house why not watch a live sports marathon. Having a bunch of bowls to watch can be fun, sort of like how people can’t get enough March Madness basketball. So the more offerings from sports, or college football the better.

I am going to miss watching a few of these bowl games, but I guess it’s for the better if they cancel.
