2019 Pre-Championship Manual released [UPDATED]

The important stuff: Tentative bid allocation is 43 Pool A, 2 1 Pool B, 19 20 Pool C Regional rankings published Oct. 23, Oct. 30, Nov. 6, Nov. 11 Selection Show at 11:30 a.m. (central) Nov. 11

If my math is correct, there should be one Pool B bid and 20 Pool C’s based on the access ratio and the teams listed in the Manual. The Manual provides the caveat below, but it would be nice to have the correct preliminary math sorted by October. Why make it seem like there could be two Pool B bids when the numbers say to expect one?

Note: The number of berths for Pools B and C may be adjusted based on sponsorship numbers at the time of selections.

Anyone who would like to check my math, I came up with an access ratio of 9 [411 countable teams in Pool A conferences / 43 Pool A conferences = 9.558 (which traditionally gets truncated to the nearest integer)].

I counted 14 Pool B eligible teams (seven from AEC, six from ACAA, Trinity-DC). The Manual says 16, but I failed to find the two NY Region teams that were counted by the Manual. Even if there are 16 Pool B teams, that’s not enough to warrant a second bid. Also, Pine Manor and Trinity-DC may be on pace to being ineligible in Pool B due to not meeting contest minimums.

UPDATE [10/9/19]: As mentioned in the comments, the Manual now says one Pool B and 20 Pool C’s.

Possible corrections if anyone has Manual editing privileges: Should be zero NY Pool B’s SUNY Delhi, not DelphiSUNY Delhi active in 2022-23 Pratt active in 2023-24 Mississippi Women active in 2023-24 St. Thomas-TX active in 2023-24 September 2019 DIII provisional chart

Perhaps an issue with conference membership forms, but I thought Pine Manor was under the wide ACAA umbrella this season. The ACAA website claims Pine Manor as a member, but PMC could be an independent officially like the Manual states. Not a big deal either way.
