New honorees will enter the PBA hall of fame in 2019.

The first of these is Left-handed bowler Patrick Allen. Allen has won 13 titles and a player of the year award. Two of his wins coming during major tournaments. PA has he was known as had a good following and was a solid bowler. He deserves to be here.

Next up is one of my personal favorites in Mika Koivuniemi. Koivuniemi is a 14-time titlist including three majors. Speaking of majors, he went by the nickname Major Mika for his first two titles coming in majors.

He wasn’t the flashiest bowler on tour, but he got the job done, which was a reason he was one of my favorites. He is also known for his 299-100 win over Tom Daugherty, which is the number 10 PBA moment of the past 6o years.

Joining up with Allen and Koivuniemi is Bob Johnson and Jim Doty. Johnson is a bowling journalist, while Doty has been involved with hosting tournaments for a while. Well done to the class of 2019 and for your accomplishments in the sport of bowling. Its good to see such a passion for a sport that isn’t as popular.
