2019 AVCA Week 6 poll: Stuck in neutral

No new teams entered the AVCA Week 6 poll, and five teams are still getting first-place votes despite contrary evidence for both of those facts.

No. 1 Emory is followed by No. 2 Calvin, No. 3 Chicago, No. 4 Carthage and No. 5 Saint Benedict. Emory, Calvin and Chicago received first-place votes as did No. 7 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 12 Johns Hopkins.

Other Central and Midwest region teams in the Week 6 top 25: No. 9 Wisconsin-Whitewater; No. 16 Augsburg; No. 18 St. Thomas (Minn.); No. 22 Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Central and Midwest region teams receiving votes this week: St. Olaf; Washington-St. Louis; Wisconsin-Stevens Point; Northwestern.

My Week 6 top 10 had Johns Hopkins and Augsburg instead of Berry and Trinity (Texas).
