2016 AVCA Week 5 poll: Stasis reigns

Last week’s top 25 teams are the same as the AVCA’s Week 5 top 25, just in a slightly different order. Not shocking, although Chicago, Trinity (Texas) and a couple of others recorded signature wins last week.

Calvin, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Southwestern remained the top three teams. Calvin received 40 first-place votes and CMS got the remaining nine while Wittenberg and Hope round out this week’s top five.

Central and Midwest region team in this week’s top 25: No. 10 UW-Stevens Point; No. 12 UW-Whitewater; No. 15 Elmhurst; No. 17 Washington-St. Louis; No. 18 UW-La Crosse; No. 21 UW-Oshkosh; No. 22 UW-Eau Claire; No. 23 Millikin; No. 24 Northwestern; No. 25 Illinois Wesleyan.
