15 Minutes of War (2019)

Director: Fred Grivois
Starring: Alban Lenoir, Olga Kurylenko, Sébastien Lalanne
In February 1976 in Djibouti, a school bus was taken hostage at the Somali border. The GIGN is sent on the spot. After 30 hours of tension, a rescue operation is organized.
Alban Lenoir stars as Captain André Gerval, who leads a special units team to rescue 20 children and a teacher who were taken hostage.
A School bus is hijacked by Somali terrorists and driven to the Somali border, where the bus becomes stationary after border patrol intervention. A Teacher, Jane, volunteers to board the bus to care for the traumatized children. The terrorists demand the return of Djibouti to Somalia, or they will execute the children.
André and his team stakes out the bus, awaiting orders from Head Office, who keeps stalling. Time is running out before the kids are taken across the border, while the men wait helplessly in the intense heat. In the face of certain death for the kids, André and his team decide to take matters into their own hands.
Inspired by true events that occurred in 1976, some of the events have been changed for dramatic effect, resulting in a thrilling and nail-biting action thriller, with an action-packed climax.
In French.
