Jet lagged and a lot of work to do before tomorrow’s show. Sometimes you don’t see your own growth until you revisit your beginnings. It’s bitter sweet, but I know that leaving California was the best decision for me. I’m grateful to come back and share my talents with the people that rock with me, but even more excited to get back on this journey outside of it. After multiple conversations and seeing other friends experiencing the same thing pursuing their music, you realize that you have to step outside of home, for home to begin embracing you. It’s great to be in an environment where your art is allowed to stand on its own, without shallow judgements and perceptions. Tomorrow I just plan on letting it all hang, and let you become a believer or not. One Love.
